Congratulations to Weiwei for winning the Top Ten Outstanding Young People in Taiwan 2023/9/1
VHLife's long-term supporter of Yilan native Chen Jingwei, known as "Weiwei," has been honored as one of Taiwan's 61st Ten Outstanding Young People. Diagnosed with the rare disease spinal muscular atrophy at birth, Weiwei faced a difficult upbringing due to his parents' divorce and mobility issues. However, he has managed to complete university, obtain numerous certifications, publish a book, and give a TED talk, striving to seize every day and live every moment to the fullest!

Weiwei deeply valued VHlife's support for his education. During his time there, he earned six computer professional certifications and became a life education instructor, sharing his insights across the globe. In 2020, he received the Presidential Education Award, and in 2022, he was recognized with the Ministry of Health and Welfare's National Disability Role Model Golden Eagle Award. After graduation, Weiwei opened the Wheelchair integrated marketing studio. We went to Yilan to give him red envelopes and celebrate the opening with him!
Spinal Muscular Atrophy Patient Chen Jingwei's Dream Plan 2018/9/4
We traveled to Dongshan Township, Yilan, to visit Weiwei, who suffers from congenital spinal muscular atrophy. A doctor even predicted she wouldn't live past 18, yet she was accepted into the Digital Marketing Department at Yilan Institute of Technology. Grandparents and the hefty medical expenses made it impossible for Weiwei to afford university tuition, especially the associated costs (long driving distance, caregivers, etc.). VHLife Hydrogen Freedom donated and raised funds, allowing Weiwei to fulfill her dream and complete her four-year education. She will graduate from university this year!
Send lunch boxes to Chung Hsing United Hospital to cheer up medical staff 2021/6/20
As the pandemic escalated, the already hard-working frontline medical staff became even more demanding! For four consecutive days, VHLife provided 200 free lunch boxes to Chung Hsing United Hospital. Over the past few days, I've been very pleased to hear from social worker Tsai that our lunch boxes have been highly praised and inquired about by our colleagues. I just hope that during this pandemic, everyone can take better care of themselves and each other.
